BACK BAY GRILL INTRODUCES CARRY OUT MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

 

PORTLAND, ME – Back Bay Grill, located at 65 Portland St., is introducing evening carry out from its dinner menu. Carry out can be requested Monday through Friday, parties larger than 6 are asked to provide 24 hours notice. All other carry out requests can be accommodated with an hours notice; another option is to call any time in the afternoon to request a specific pick up time.

 

Owner and Chef Larry Matthews explained, “We get occasional requests from people who want to entertain at home or surprise that special someone with a great meal. It made sense to be able to offer this consistently to the people who work in Portland and are headed home at the end of a long day or who perhaps have to work late and are looking for a change of pace.” Matthews added, “Carry out also removes the issue of finding babysitters and dealing with those other difficulties that I, as a parent myself, can relate to.”

 

Back Bay Grill is centrally located for commuters, two blocks down from the Portland Post Office and near the entrance to 295.

 

The restaurant is known for its signature Duck Two Ways with Seared Duck Confit and Lavender Marinated Breast. Other menu options include a salad of Mixed Greens with Candied Walnuts, English Stilton and a Port Wine Vinaigrette, hand made pastas and exceptional desserts. Back Bay Grill always offers at least one vegetarian item on the menu and all foods are made, from scratch, on the premises. The restaurant places a strong emphasis on fresh, high quality ingredients.
